The county seat is in Santa Ana. John Wayne Airport sits locally in Santa Ana and can be reached via the 405 freeway. For entertainment Orange County holds a fair each year with wild and exciting themes. Each year brings something different and a color is chosen with a theme. The fairgrounds are located in Costa Mesa off of the 405 and 55 freeways. The fair lasts about 17 days in July and August.
